For several years, I lived the same miserable life in fear, sadness,  emotional roller coasters, drama, facing domestic violence and abuse constantly. I was comfortably miserable and trying so hard to be “strong” too,  till one day, I hit rock bottom.

In I remember sitting there, sobbing and asking myself, is this really all there is to my life? Is this where I belong? What have I allowed myself to be reduced to?          …You know what, I decided no. I refused to give up on myself, give up on my dreams, or give in to the mediocrity that surrounded me. I was tired of holding onto the pain and  something had to change NOW!

I decided to do something to ending the pain of domestic violence and abuse in my life, so that I could break this cycle and not transmit it to my kids. I wanted my kids to learn and experience genuine love and kindness and the best of me.

I set out on a journey to find answers to 3 main questions:

How do people become victims?

How do people become abusive?

How can I heal my heart, break this cycle in my life and create the life of my full potentials?

The answers I found were so life transforming that they have become the lessons I teach in the programs at Healing Family Wounds LLC . I discovered my strength, regained my personal power and found the courage to rise up from the lowest points of low self-esteem, helplessness, fear, shame and anger.

Today I have answered the call to using my gifts, talents and lessons to serve humanity. I went from suffering as a victim to the conscious creator of my new reality.
